Overview
The city of Hastings, MN has adopted the following codes:
- 2007 Minnesota Building Code, based on the 2000 IBC, including Appendix J with amendments. Minn. R. § 1305.0011.
- 2007 Minnesota Residential Code, based on the 2006 IRC, with amendments. Minn. R. § 1309.0010.
- 2003 Adoption of the Guidelines for the Rehabilitation of Existing Buildings, based on the 2000 IEBC with amendments. Minn. R. § 1311.0010.

Per discussion with a PLRB staff member on December 12, 2019, staff at the City of Hastings Building Safety Department confirmed their department enforces the current 2015 MN State Building Codes.
